Known issues on the 2009 Milan. Seven recalls are recorded, five of them on air bag inflators whose propellant can break down over years of heat and humidity and then rupture the housing during deployment, sending fragments toward the driver or passenger. One covers anti-lock brake hydraulic control unit valves that can react with certain brake fluid additives and fail to seat, so stopping takes more pedal travel. The last concerns an accessory floor mat that can interfere with the accelerator pedal. Owners logged 226 complaints, 109 on the brakes, 85 on air bags and 10 on speed control.
