Known issues on the 2009 Suburban 1500. Five recalls sit on the federal record. Three concern a passenger air bag inflator that can burst when deployed and throw metal fragments at the people in front of it. Another covers a fuel system control module whose sealant can separate from its housing and admit water, shorting the circuit and leaving the engine hard to start, unwilling to start, or liable to stall.
