2008 Chevrolet Uplander Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 2008 Chevrolet Uplander applies to every configuration built that year: four-door and five-door mini passenger vans and a four-door mini cargo van, in Base, LS and LT trim, all with the naturally aspirated 3.9L OHV V6 of 237 cubic inches running flex-fuel or gasoline. With one engine beneath three bodies, the mechanical sections read the same throughout, and it is the body, trim and wiring content that changes from passenger van to cargo van.

Known issues on the 2008 Uplander. One recall stands on the federal record, and it applies to mobility-converted vans: a trailing arm modification that may not have been welded adequately can wear its bushings, fracture, and let the rear axle separate partly from the chassis. Complaints number 118, led by the electrical system at 23, the service brakes at 10 and the suspension at 9.
