Known issues on the 2007 Uplander. Two recalls appear on the federal record. One covers a replacement steering knuckle that can break where it meets the hub, leaving the driver without steering control. The other covers a trailing arm modification on mobility-converted vans that may not have been welded adequately, letting the bushings wear and the arm fracture until the rear axle separates partly from the chassis.
