Four recalls are on federal record for this model year: an antilock brake and traction control fault that can cause a loss of vehicle control and a crash without warning, a fuel tank leak that can cause a fire in the presence of an ignition source, a suspension condition that can cause a loss of effective lift and lowering of the vehicle, and a fracture of the rear lower control arm that can cause a loss of vehicle control. Owners have filed 941 complaints and Jeep has issued 21 technical service bulletins for the year.
