The download I received was a complete waste of my money. Was not even close to what it was represented as. I thought I was getting a proper service repair manual. What I got was a collection of service bulletins. I sent an email to your company right after I looked through it requesting my money back. Have yet to hear a response. Terry Muich

More detailed than I thought, still trying to navigate through it, not what I thought it would be, thought it would be more like the Haynes manual.

It was much larger than i expected. 5 documents at 12k pages each. Its not something ill actually be able read but its easy enough to find what you need..
The Ford F250 manual is much easier to navigate at just over 8000 pages.
If i spend the money for Adobe Acrobat Professional ill be able to break it down into manageable bits.
Both manuals area great value for the money.

Excellent. Now I can actually start working on my cars again with confidence. YouTube videos really are inadequate.

Schematics were not high resolution making the markings and names difficult to read when zoomed in. Improvement is needed. Otherwise it is a good document.

Finding and ordering the manual for my vehicle was very easy

I wasn’t sure why I needed this to be a PDF, but it was apparent once I got it. It includes what would be thousands of pages if it were in print. The links take you to wherever you need to go in the text.

I didn’t realize I would have a link in an email to click to get another email with another link to download.

would rather have a maintenance manual. have a parts manual from parts vu company. only difference is that your parts manual has all together whereas the parts vu had to download the differsections individually.

Our original order was supposed to be for our 2014 Subaru Outback, yet the manual came up as Forester. We did have to purchase a new manual in order for them to send us the correct manual. We hope it will help us repair our Subaru.

Every clearance, torque figure and diagnostic step in this 2005 Scion xA service and repair manual is tied to this exact year, engine and trim, so what you read for the 1.5L four-cylinder (1NZ-FE) is the specification Scion published for the 2005 car rather than a close-enough number carried over from an adjacent model year.

Engines

  • 1.5L l4 GAS Naturally Aspirated

Trims

Known issues on the 2005 xA. Three recalls are on federal record for this vehicle. The first covers the air bag control module for the supplemental restraint system: the SRS ECU may experience an internal short, possibly causing the air bags to unintentionally deploy, or become deactivated. If the air bags and/or seat belt pretensioners unintentionally deploy, it can increase the risk of a crash; if they are deactivated, it can increase the risk of injury in the event of a crash. The second covers load carrying capacity labeling, as affected vehicles were sold without the requisite load carrying capacity modification labels, and a driver may overload a vehicle, which may increase the risk of a crash. The third covers certain Rostra cruise controls installed as original equipment and also sold as aftermarket equipment: the cruise control may not return to idle when the on/off switch is pressed for the first time, and failure to release the throttle when the cruise control is turned off could result in a vehicle crash. Owners have filed 51 complaints for the year and Scion has issued 19 technical service bulletins. The diagnostic and repair procedures behind each of those systems are here.

Whether the job is on the supplemental restraint system, the cruise control or a routine service interval on the 1NZ-FE, it keeps you on the OEM procedure and the correct specification for your specific 2005 xA.

No active recalls The 2005 Scion xA has no recalls on file with NHTSA.
No service bulletins No technical service bulletins on file with NHTSA for the 2005 Scion xA.
