2000 BMW M5 Service and Repair Manual

Known issues on the 2000 M5. Two recalls are on the federal record. One concerns tire sidewalls that may have been damaged by the machine that mounted and inflated them at the plant; the weakened area can let go suddenly, taking handling and control with it. The other covers a brake light switch that can fail internally and leave the lamps either dead or permanently lit, so drivers behind cannot tell whether the car is slowing.
