Three recalls are on federal record for this model year: two separate driver-side frontal air bag inflator module recalls (NHTSA 20V027000 and 20V026000), where in the event of a crash necessitating air bag deployment an inflator rupture may result in metal fragments; and a hydraulic brake master cylinder recall (03V239000), where internal corrosion results in reduced braking performance and increased stopping distances and could eventually cause a complete brake system failure, increasing the risk of a crash.
