Known issues on the 1993 G1500. No recalls and no owner complaints are on the federal record for the 1993 G1500. The manual concentrates instead on what wears: valve train and short block work across all three engines, water pump, radiator and lubrication service, automatic transmission overhaul, universal joints and axle shafts, steering linkage and front suspension repair with the alignment figures that follow it, brake shoe and pad replacement with drum and rotor specifications, and circuit testing for a van wired two different ways.
