This factory service and repair manual for the 1991 Eagle Summit covers a year in which the Summit came with one engine and two bodies. Known issues on the 1991 Summit. Seat belts dominate this year's data. The single recall on the 1991 Summit applied to certain 1991 Summit vehicles with Takata-made belts, whose front buckle release buttons could crack and leave pieces inside the buckle, compromising how it latched; owners were told to inspect both buckles and have a dealer fix any faulty one. Of 12 owner complaints, 8 concern seat belts, and engine and engine cooling, exterior lighting, hydraulic service brakes and steering have 1 apiece.
