1989 Ford Ranger Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 1989 Ford Ranger is built around just two engines, the 2.9L OHV V6 and the 2.3L SOHC inline-four, both naturally aspirated and gasoline fueled. It covers the two-door standard cab pickup and the two-door extended cab pickup across five trims: Custom, GT, S, STX and XLT. With only two engines to document, the procedures, specifications, torque values, wiring diagrams and diagnostics can go into detail on each one, and the chassis, brake and electrical sections apply to every trim regardless of which engine sits under the hood.
