Known issues on the 1986 C20. This year comes through the federal record clean, with no recalls issued and no owner complaints against it. On a working truck of this age the manual matters more than a fault list anyway: it gives overhaul clearances and torque sequences for all six engines, injection and fuel supply procedures for the diesel, transmission, driveshaft and rear axle service, brake hydraulic and lining specifications, steering and front suspension alignment values, and wiring diagrams with the diagnostics for each circuit.
