Known issues on the 1985 C20. The federal record holds one recall, and it applies to a replacement oil filter rather than to anything installed at the factory: the seal can be inadequate, engine oil can escape and a fire can follow. Two owner complaints, both about tires, are the only others on record. Rather than a fault history, this manual gives the working numbers — oil pressure and lubrication specifications, wheel and tire fitting torque, and the full set of engine, driveline, brake, steering and electrical procedures for every configuration listed.
