Known issues on the 1985 Lancer. The federal record lists 4 recalls for the 1985 Lancer. On certain 1985 Lancer cars with power-adjusted bucket seats, the driver's seat frame could crack from fatigue at an attachment point and let the seat shift, so a stronger frame and added reinforcement went in. Certain cars with a specific engine could leak fuel in cold weather where the underhood supply hose joins the pressure regulator and fuel rail; a relocated regulator and reshaped hose followed. Another recall supplied a missing front center belt to certain cars with the optional center cushion and armrest, covering 208 vehicles. Owners filed 1 complaint, citing the electrical system and seats. Fuel system procedures and torque values apply.
