Known issues on the 2024 Telluride. Three recalls are on federal record for this model year. The first covers the driveline: the intermediate shaft and right front driveshaft may not be fully engaged, which can result in vehicle roll away, and a vehicle roll away increases the risk of a crash or injury. The second covers internal engine hard parts, where the engine valve springs may break while driving, which can result in a loss of drive power and possibly a hole in the engine block; a loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash. The third covers the front power seat assembly: the front power seat motor may overheat due to a stuck power seat slide knob, which can result in a fire, and a fire increases the risk of injury.
