Known issues on the 2023 Ascent. On the 2023 Ascent the federal record lists 4 recalls. Certain 2023 Ascent vehicles have driveshaft center support bolts that can loosen until the front of the driveshaft comes free; dealers prepare the mounting faces and fit new bolts. Another covered 5 vehicles, certain 2023 Ascent vehicles in which a front lower control arm ball joint castle nut may be under-tightened, so the retaining pin can fail and the joint can separate. Certain 2023 Ascent vehicles also carry a label with the wrong gross axle weight rating.
