The first covers the electrical system: liquid spilled in the rear seat can penetrate the gateway control module and cause it to shut down, suddenly reducing engine power and increasing the risk of a crash. The second covers the fuel level sender in the instrument panel, which can stick and display an inaccurate fuel reading, raising the risk of an engine stall due to lack of fuel and increasing the risk of a crash. The third covers the backup camera system: a software error can prevent the rearview image from displaying, reducing the driver's view behind the vehicle and increasing the risk of a crash.
