This factory service and repair manual for the 2021 Ford Transit-350 HD covers a two-engine range, both 3.5L V6 units: one naturally aspirated and certified for flex-fuel, one turbocharged and burning gasoline. Known issues on the 2021 Transit-350 HD. Three recalls are on federal record for this model year. Ford recalled the front passenger seat belt because its automatic locking retractor can deactivate, which matters whenever a child seat is belted into that position. A second campaign covers converted vans carrying a generator, where the fuel hose between the inline filter and the injection pump module may not be properly secured and can leak gasoline. The third reaches modified vans through their wheelchair restraint securement hardware. Owners have filed 31 complaints with NHTSA. Restraint, fuel line and body electrical procedures are the parts of this manual that answer those subjects.
