Known issues on the 2020 SL550. Three recalls name the 2020 SL550. Certain gasoline-engine cars may have had debris caught between the fuel rail and injectors during assembly, which can let fuel leak near hot engine or exhaust parts and start a fire; dealers replace the rail and injectors. The remaining two update communication module software on certain cars, one because a SIM card error can knock the emergency call system off the network and one because it can misreport the crash location.
