Known issues on the 2020 S63 AMG. NHTSA lists three recalls for the 2020 S63 AMG. Two involve the emergency call system: on certain cars a SIM card software error in the communication module could drop the mobile connection and leave eCall unable to reach help, and on certain others the module could hand responders an incorrect crash location. The third covers certain cars with a panoramic sunroof whose front roof panel may have been poorly bonded during an earlier repair, letting it loosen and come off on the road.
