Known issues on the 2011 S63 AMG. NHTSA lists two recalls for the 2011 S63 AMG, both limited to cars built during a set production window. In certain 2011 S63 AMG vehicles, a molding flaw could leave the fuel filter flange prone to cracking at high temperatures, releasing fuel that could catch fire if it met an ignition source; dealers replaced the filter. Certain others had a tire pressure warning that might not stay lit long enough or come back on after a restart. Of five owner complaints, two involve the gasoline fuel system, and 1 complaint reported a fire. Fuel system procedures, tire pressure monitoring diagnostics and wiring diagrams are covered.
