2020 BMW X4 Service and Repair Manual

This factory service and repair manual for the 2020 BMW X4 has six trims to place, from xDrive30i through Executive and X Line to the M40i, M and M Competition, all in a four-door sport utility body. Two turbocharged gasoline engines serve them: a 122-cubic-inch 2.0-liter inline-four and a 3.0-liter inline-six, both with double overhead camshafts. Known issues on the 2020 X4. Ten recalls are recorded for this year, and several are chassis faults. Front axle swivel bearings that were not heat treated properly can lose strength and break, taking control of the vehicle with them; steering rack pinion teeth can shear under load; and a tie rod can be damaged on rough, hot roads until it fractures. Others cover a starter relay that corrodes and can overheat into a fire, engine software that drops braking assist at startup, and seat belt buckle sensors that read a belted occupant as unbelted. Complaints total 15, led by four on the electrical system.
