2016 BMW X4 Service and Repair Manual

This factory service and repair manual for the 2016 BMW X4 spans eight trims of one four-door sport utility, from the M Sport and X Line packages to the M40i and the xDrive28i and xDrive35i lines. Underneath them are two engines, a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four of 122 cubic inches and a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six, each with double overhead camshafts and each on gasoline. The manual keeps the two apart where they differ and treats them together where they do not.

Known issues on the 2016 X4. Two recalls are recorded. One covers the water pump: an electrical connector that was not sealed properly can be reached by water and short out, raising the risk of a fire under the hood. The other covers the lower child seat anchor bars, which can be damaged by rigid-connector child restraints and then may not hold in a crash.
