Known issues on the 2018 GLS450. Brakes lead the three recalls listed for the 2018 GLS450. On certain vehicles the rear brake caliper pistons may not have been coated correctly, so gas could enter the rear brake circuit for a time and reduce braking; dealers bled the rear axle brakes. The other two concern eCall on certain vehicles, one a SIM card software error that could stop the system connecting, the other software that might send responders the wrong location.
