Known issues on the 2017 GLE63 AMG. Seven recalls apply to this year. In certain vehicles, the driver-side rear door could show as locked when it was not, so it might be opened unintentionally; dealers inspected and replaced the lock as needed. Certain vehicles had a center console that could come unlatched in some crashes and release its contents into the cabin. A third covered certain 4MATIC versions where excess bulkhead insulation reaching the lower windshield could weaken the glass bond and the passenger front air bag's protection.
