Known issues on the 2016 GLC300. Owners filed 140 complaints about the 2016 GLC300, led by the engine at 40, service brakes at 29 and the fuel and propulsion system at 18; 10 complaints reported a crash, 2 a fire and 6 an injury. The record lists 12 recalls. In two of them, the latch plates on the outer rear seat belts of certain vehicles could slip back into the side paneling where passengers could not reach them, fixed with felt strips or a buffer at the C-pillar.
