Known issues on the 2015 Transit Custom. Eight recalls are on the federal record for this year. Ford recalled full-size Transit vans over a driveshaft coupling that can fail and leave the vehicle unable to move under its own power, and separately over trailer tow modules that can take in water, corroding the wiring and creating a short. Several more, all from upfitters, cover foldaway seats whose backs can shift in a crash. Owners have filed 192 complaints with NHTSA, and the power train takes 72 of those, with 21 on the engine and 16 on the electrical system. My van at times doesn't mater the incline it will say hill side assist and will lock the brakes I can be stuck for an hour or so found pumping the breaks will help release the lock quicker had dealers
