Known issues on the 2013 GLK350. Six recalls are on record. In certain vehicles the bolt joining the steering coupling may not have been tightened enough, which could lead to a loss of steering. Certain vehicles built between late May and early August 2012 put too much voltage through the parking lamp circuit, making the lamps bright enough to dazzle oncoming drivers; a control unit software update fixes it. Another recall, for certain vehicles, found that inadequate grounding of steering components could set off the driver air bag unexpectedly.
