Known issues on the 2010 GLK350. NHTSA lists five recalls for the 2010 GLK350, and air bags are the common thread. On certain vehicles a manufacturing error let the air bag control unit corrode, so the bags might fire unexpectedly or fail to deploy in a crash; dealers inspect the unit and replace it where needed. Certain vehicles were recalled because the driver's frontal inflator could split apart and throw metal fragments. Certain vehicles sold or ever registered in a listed group of states and territories had the passenger frontal module replaced over an inflator that could burst. The 231 owner complaints center on air bags (144), the fuel/propulsion system (25) and suspension (14); 9 complaints reported a crash, 6 an injury and 2 a fire.
