Known issues on the 2011 C63 AMG. Four recalls apply to the 2011 C63 AMG. Passenger air bag inflators are the subject of two, both covering certain cars sold or ever registered in states and territories including Alabama, California, Florida and Texas, where the inflator could rupture and throw metal fragments. On certain cars the driver's inflator carried a similar rupture risk, and a poor ground could dim the tail lights of certain cars built up to mid-July 2011. Air bags are named in 2 of the 3 owner complaints, and 4 complaints were filed against the 2011 W204-chassis models. The manual includes restraint and lighting wiring diagrams, diagnostics and procedures.
