Known issues on the 2010 Camaro. Three recalls sit on the federal record. Two involve the ignition key leaving the run position, one because a driver's knee can knock it out and one because replacement flip-key assemblies carrying the same fault were sold as service parts; either way the engine shuts off, power steering and power braking go with it, and the air bags may not deploy in a crash. The third has the positive battery cable rubbing on the starter housing until the insulation wears through and shorts, risking a stall, a no-start or an engine compartment fire.
