Known issues on the 2009 G55 AMG. NHTSA shows one recall for this model year. It concerned certain 2009 G55 AMG vehicles equipped with a grille cover in front of each turn signal. The accessory was permissible, but its effect on light output accumulated, and eventually the signals could be too weak to satisfy the federal lighting rules, reducing warning to other drivers.
