Known issues on the 2008 C350. Six recalls name the 2008 C350. One covered certain vehicles whose control units got the wrong software during service, risking lost drive power, dim lights or no stability control. Another addressed certain cars whose air bag control unit could corrode, so the bags might fire unexpectedly or not at all. A third covered certain vehicles built from January 2007 through July 2011, where a weak ground could dim or kill the tail lights. Apart from those six, NHTSA filed two recalls against the 2008 C-Class line.
