2007 Suzuki SX4 Service and Repair Manual

New for 2007, the SX4 replaced the Aerio wagon and was sold in the US only as a four-door hatchback, one of the least expensive cars with all-wheel drive. Its 2.0L J20A four made 143 hp and teamed with a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic, while the i-AWD system offered 2WD, Auto and Lock modes. Base, Convenience and Sport trims were offered before the sedan joined the range. Known issues on the 2007 SX4. Two recalls are on federal record. The three screws holding each outside mirror to its base can loosen from vibration and let the mirror fall off, and the occupant classification sensor mat in the front passenger seat can fail from repeated flexing, so the air bag deploys regardless of who is seated. Seventy-three owner complaints are logged with NHTSA, dominated by air bag reports.
