Known issues on the 2007 C5500 Topkick. Three recalls appear on the federal record for the 2007 C5500 Topkick, and each one concerns hardware mounted onto the truck. A protection diode in a wheelchair-lift interlock could be destroyed by a voltage spike, leaving the vehicle drivable with the lift extended. A defective heater element in a ceiling-mounted air conditioning unit could smoke or throw sparks and start a fire. A rear air suspension's lateral control bracket could crack and degrade handling. A single owner complaint is also recorded. Circuit routing, suspension and chassis work all fall inside this manual's diagrams and procedures.
