2007 Chevrolet W3500 Tiltmaster Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 2007 Chevrolet W3500 Tiltmaster covers the W3S042 low-tilt straight truck with either the naturally aspirated 6.0L V8 of 364 cubic inches, an overhead-valve gasoline engine, or the turbocharged 5.2L inline-four diesel of 317 cubic inches. Its structure follows the truck rather than the engine first: identification and maintenance, then engine mechanical and fuel by type, then transmission, axles, brakes, steering, frame and cab wiring, each with specifications, torque values, diagrams and diagnostic charts.

Known issues on the 2007 W3500 Tiltmaster. Three recalls attach to this model year. One covers oil pipe bolts that can loosen in service, letting oil escape past the seals until the engine runs dry and can seize while the truck is being driven. Another involves diesel fuel weeping from the pipe connections at the supply pump. The third concerns a fuel tank that can corrode through and leak. Two owner complaints are on record, one filed under engine and one under engine and engine cooling.
