Known issues on the 2003 W3500 Tiltmaster. One recall is recorded federally, and it belongs to the diesel fuel system: solenoids in the fuel switching manifold were not built to resist water or salt, and when one fails the fuel is routed incorrectly and overflows from the filler neck, which near any ignition source is a fire risk. Four owner complaints are on record, two on steering and one each on tires and service brakes. Fuel system, steering and brake procedures are all set out here with the specifications to check them by.
