This factory service and repair manual for the 2007 Buick Rainier addresses the Rainier in 4-door sport utility form. The CXL is the only trim listed for this model year. Known issues on the 2007 Rainier. There are 5 recalls on the federal record for the 2007 Rainier. The recurring theme is the driver's door module in certain 2007 Rainier vehicles: moisture reaching its circuit board could cause corrosion and a short, making the power window and lock switches unreliable and, if it overheated, melting parts of the module or causing a fire. The earlier protective coating might not remove that risk, so dealers fitted a replacement module. A separate recall covered certain 2007 Rainier vehicles whose headlamp driver module could overheat and switch off the headlamps and daytime running lamps. Owners filed 38 complaints, with the gasoline fuel system (8) and electrical system (7) at the top; 2 complaints reported a fire.
