On certain 2004 Rainier vehicles, a weak flasher module could make the turn lamps blink on both sides like hazard lights, leaving other drivers unsure of the intended move; it covered 286,478 vehicles, and dealers fitted a flasher with sealed relays. The second covered certain 2004 Rainier vehicles, 871,473 in total, whose tail and stop lamp bulbs could work loose in their sockets from heat and vibration until they flickered or went dark.
