Known issues on the 2006 CLK55 AMG. NHTSA filed one recall against the 2006 CLK-Class line, a campaign that reached certain vehicles across that wider line: after a workshop visit, a control module could be left with the wrong software coding, so in a collision the electric fuel pump might never get the signal telling it to stop supplying fuel. Dealers corrected the coding. Three complaints were also logged against the 2006 CLK-Class line, clustering on the fuel and propulsion system, with the service brakes and exterior lighting also named. The fuel delivery, brake and lighting coverage in this manual carries the procedures, specifications, wiring diagrams and diagnostics for those systems.
