Known issues on the 2004 CLK55 AMG. Three recalls name the 2004 CLK55 AMG. Certain vehicles may have a glass sunroof panel that was not fixed in place securely, the subject of two campaigns, or one whose bond to the sliding roof frame weakens with age; either way the glass can come away from the car. NHTSA filed two recalls against the wider 2004 CLK-Class line, one for seat belt buckles on certain cars with a burr in the latch that could stop the belt locking.
