Known issues on the 2005 Armada. Five recalls are on federal record for this model year. The first covers the front lower control link, where an improperly welded collar can separate and degrade vehicle handling. The second covers the engine control module relay inside the intelligent power distribution module, where silicon buildup on the contact can cause engine stalling. The third covers the air conditioning condenser fan motor, which can let in water and corrode, raising the risk of overheating and fire. The fourth covers the instrument panel fuel gauge, which can inaccurately read fuel remaining and lead to running out of gas and stalling on the highway. The fifth covers an aftermarket trailer brake control connection harness with a miswired connector that can route power to the dash light circuit instead of the trailer brakes, reducing stopping ability while towing. Consequence
IF THE COLLAR WELD SEPARATES, THE VEHICLE HANDLING WILL DETERIORATE, POSSIBLY RESULTING IN A VEHICLE CRASH.
Remedy
NISSAN WILL NOTIFY OWNERS AND DEALERS WILL REPLACE ANY AFFECTED LOWER LINK FREE OF CHARGE. THE SAFETY RECALL BEGAN ON JULY 12, 2010. OWNERS MAY CONTACT NISSAN AT 1-800-647-7261.

Consequence
THIS COULD CAUSE ENGINE STALLING INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.
Remedy

Remedy

Remedy
