This factory service and repair manual for the 2002 Ford E-350 Club Wagon has an unusually short specification list: one engine, the 5.4L SOHC V8; one body, the three-door standard passenger van; and one trim, XL. That simplicity is worth something in a shop, because nothing has to be cross-checked against an engine or a trim that was never fitted. Procedures, specifications, torque values, wiring diagrams and diagnostics run through the engine, transmission, axles, brakes, steering, suspension, body and electrical systems of that single configuration.
Engines covered
- 5.4L V8 (330 cu in) — SOHC, naturally aspirated, gasoline

Known issues on the 2002 E-350 Club Wagon. Half of the four recalls for the 2002 wagon come from aftermarket lamp suppliers. One applies to cutaway chassis cabs built with the school bus option, which were missing two brackets and two outrigger members near the fuel tank. Another is Ford's speed control campaign, in which the fuse ended up in the output circuit rather than the intended power feed. The remaining two cover aftermarket corner and bumper lamp assemblies that fall short of federal lighting requirements. Owners have lodged 172 complaints with NHTSA, most on engine cooling, then the suspension and the service brakes. Those systems all have procedures, torque values and diagnostics here.
