Known issues on the 2000 RX 300. Five recalls are on federal record for this model year, four of them under exterior lighting and all four filed against lamps sold as replacement or aftermarket equipment rather than against the vehicle as built. Two cover combination corner and bumper lamp assemblies, one of those filed specifically against the headlights, where decreased lighting visibility may result in a vehicle crash. The other two also cover replacement lamps: corner lamps, turn signals and headlights in one case, and combination headlights, clear corner, bumper and side marker lights in the other. In both, some of the combination lamps are not equipped with amber side reflectors, and without the amber reflectors the vehicle will be poorly illuminated, possibly resulting in a vehicle crash without warning.
