1999 Plymouth Breeze Service and Repair Manual

Known issues on the 1999 Breeze. Three recalls apply to the 1999 Breeze. Certain 1999 Breeze vehicles equipped with the 2.4L engine have a high-pressure power steering hose that can age from heat and leak, and fluid meeting an ignition source can start an underhood fire. Certain vehicles can also have a right rear brake tube that chafes through on an exhaust clamp and leaks. The 117 complaints lean toward the engine and engine cooling at 29 and the electrical system at 22; 16 reported a crash, 25 a fire and 9 at least one injury.
