1998 Plymouth Breeze Service and Repair Manual

Known issues on the 1998 Breeze. There are 3 recalls on record for the 1998 Breeze. On certain 1998 Breeze vehicles, the right rear brake tube could rub against an exhaust clamp until it wore through and leaked, leaving half of the diagonally split brakes weaker and stops longer. Certain vehicles could also have a failed floor shifter interlock that let the lever out of park with the key removed, which risks a rollaway. Complaints number 174, with 67 about the engine and engine cooling and 22 about the power train. Of these, 20 complaints reported a crash, 11 a fire, 15 at least one injury and 1 a death.
