1995 Ford F-800 Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 1995 Ford F-800 covers two turbocharged inline-six diesels, the 5.9L and the 8.3L, in a medium conventional chassis built as a tractor truck or a straight truck and offered in one Base trim. Because the engine list is short, most of the book's weight falls on getting those two diesels right: separate procedures, specifications, torque values, wiring diagrams and diagnostics for each, plus the chassis, brake and steering work that a tractor and a straight truck share and the places where they part ways.

Known issues on the 1995 F-800. Five recalls are on federal record for this model year. One covers trucks built without a separate antilock brake warning lamp, leaving a brake fault unannounced. Another concerns the air dryer, which can block and freeze in cold weather and then separate from its base. A third involves the hand throttle cable wearing the governor lever's swivel block until the governor jams off idle. Owners have filed two complaints with NHTSA, one on the service brakes and one on the power train. The brake, air, throttle and steering systems fall within the manual's procedures, specifications, torque values, wiring diagrams and diagnostics.
