1995 Eagle Vision Service and Repair Manual

Known issues on the 1995 Vision. NHTSA lists 3 recalls against the 1995 Vision. In certain 1995 Vision cars, the floor shifter park interlock could fail, letting the lever leave park without the key or the key come out when not in park, so the car could roll; dealers installed a load-limiting push rod in the lever. Certain cars also had lower control arm brackets that could fatigue-crack off the engine cradle, which could pull a half-shaft out of the transaxle and cut power; the cradle was reinforced. The record holds 97 complaints, with power train at 34 and steering at 17. Of those, 3 complaints mention a crash, 3 mention an injury and 1 describes a fire.
