This factory service and repair manual for the 1995 Chevrolet B7 covers three engines and one body: the naturally aspirated 6.0L and 7.0L OHV gasoline V8s, the turbocharged 6.6L OHV inline-six diesel, and the cab forward school bus designated B7T042. Engine work divides along fuel lines, with ignition and gasoline fuel delivery on one side and injection and diesel fuel supply on the other, while the chassis, brake, steering and electrical chapters describe a bus that is the same underneath whichever engine it carries.

Known issues on the 1995 B7. One recall is on the federal record. A transmission reverse signal switch can leak and lose electrical contact when the transmission is in reverse, which can stop the backup lights and the audible alarm from working and raises the risk of an accident behind the bus. A single owner complaint is also recorded, under visibility. Both point at circuits and switches, and the manual covers them with wiring diagrams, switch and lamp testing procedures, and diagnostic sequences for the reverse and exterior lighting systems.
