Known issues on the 1995 90 Quattro. Three recalls are on federal record for this model year. The first covers the ignition switch, which was improperly manufactured and can cause electrical accessories such as turn signals, wipers, lamps, power windows, and air conditioning to malfunction when the car is started. The second covers the fuel injection system on V6-equipped cars: an internal seal in the fuel injector can malfunction and leak fuel into the engine compartment, which in the presence of an ignition source can result in a fire. The third covers the frontal air bag, where a discharge of static electricity under low humidity can activate the driver-side air bag as the driver enters or exits and completes a circuit through the steering wheel.
